It’s easier than you think to spatchcock your own chicken: all you need is a pair of sharp kitchen scissors! The great thing about cooking a chicken this way, is that it takes a lot less time than traditional roasting and you can cook it on the BBQ.
A wonderful way to cook chicken! It may look a little funny (and undignified!) but it leads to the juiciest, tastiest meat.
Because sometimes, only a burger will do! For me, it has to have a cheese slice, plenty of salad and some onions … proper comfort food! Now I only have one beef pattie in mine – the photo shows one of my husband’s creations: in his eyes, more is always more!

This is our favourite burger recipes; served with salad and mayonnaise in a toasted brioche bun – delicious! My children prefer turkey mince as it is softer, and the addition of apple means that it stays nice and moist; turkey also has less calories than beef mince.
