The best chocolate brownies
The perfect chocolate brownie should be firm on the outside and deliciously gooey on the inside: just like these!
Ingredients
- 250 g caster sugar
- 100 g self raising flour
- 90 g cocoa powder
- 60 g icing sugar
- 100 g white chocolate chips
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 125 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp water
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160℃ and line a 8×8 baking tray
- Combine the sugars, flour, cocoa powder, chocolate chips and salt in a large bowl
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, olive oil, water and vanilla
- Add the wet mix to the dry and stir until fully combined
- Pour the batter into the prepared tray and bake for 45 minutes
- Cool completely before slicing and sprinkling with icing sugar
