This is the only breakfast cereal that I like to eat because it’s low in salt, sugar and fat and high in fibre. With a little added goodness it makes a brilliant start to the day. You can vary the fruit depending on what is in the fruit bowl … a sprinkling of dried fruit works well (but contains lots of sugars).
An easy dinner that is tasty and healthy! We like it served with homemade coleslaw and a simple tomato and basil salad. Delicious hot or cold this is a perfect packed lunch (or picnic) food.
There is a lovely little Turkish restaurant near my house and this is my favourite brunch dish from there! It’s always served with bread to mop up the juices…delicious!
I love baked beans on toast…classic comfort food (especially if it has grated cheese on top!) But the tinned varieties are full of salt and sugar. By making your own, you can control exactly what goes in making it a healthy and nutritious lunch option.
